 Rocky Mountain Health Plans was started in 1974 by a group of doctors in Colorado and is certified as a non-profit company. RMHP prices are very low. RMHP has very high financial ratings, and has received several awards for their service.
In contrast to most college plans, you can keep the RMHP policy until you are 65 and qualify for Medicare. You will receive $2 million in lifetime benefits! There are no limits on doctor visits or on prescription medicines. You only pay a small copay. You do not have to satisfy a deductible to see a doctor or get medicines.
Prices start at $76.41 monthly. Prices are related to age and deductible selected. We recommend RMHP’s SOLO Select plans for college students. They are comprehensive and will serve your needs for many years.
Many employers are no longer offering group health insurance to their employees. Other employers are reducing their share of the costs, and reducing the benefits in the plans that they do offer. A purchase of a RMHP health insurance plan is a wise choice for your future.
